Bought this model a few years ago. Overall have been satisfied. It's powerful, fairly quiet on low speed settings, as expected louder at the highest speeds, but at the highest speed it really clears out the kitchen. The two negatives are 1. The clock constantly loses time as others have mentioned over the years. It is so frustrating to see a very old stove below it and an old under cabinet radio keep perfect time. 2. The LED lights are great, wish it had at least a two brightness levels as opposed to the on/off. Panels are easy to pull down to wash, be careful of sharp edges. Have a situation with it now, customer service is helping me resolve the situation for an honest review. Overall am happy with the purchase, I hope it can be trouble free for many more years.

Great under cabinet exhaust hood

I bought this approximately 2 years ago and have very much enjoyed this exhaust hood. I cook fish at least three times a week and, in addition, grilled vegetables, etc. I live in the Northeast and cook inside all winter. This unit removes the smoke and smells fast and efficient.
The down lights on the unit are great and let you see what you are cooking! Lastly, it is very easy to clean, you can put the filters in your dishwasher. I highly recommend this unit, you will not be disappointed. Excellent value, hight quality! No fire alarms...

The hood you want and need

Great hood, easy to install and most effective hood we have used. We cook a lot of food in a wok at high temp and hood very effective catching oil and odors. Removable baffles that catch oil a little hard to clean only negative.

Love it! Did research and made sure I was purchasing a unit that was big enough for my new gas range. It works fantastic; great suction. Not too loud either. Looks great with my new renovation! I would recommend.

A few things could be better ….
Tends to be a little noisy.
The timer should allow you to time off just the light without having to use the fan.
I would like the timer to be able to be set for up to a half hour ….. instead of just 15 minutes
It should have a memory so when you turn the unit off, and turn it back on, it can remember the last setting.
