I bought this unit 2023 and was a good choice of purchase. It is very easy to clean with a powerful suction. No major issues. I recommend to better the way you change the clock.

Really powerfull but the noise gets old pretty qui

I bought a new construction which for some reason in this day and age with a gas cook top decided that the recirculating microwave is perfectly acceptable. So the first thing we did was install a range hood.
We choose this once cause of the touch sensitive buttons and ability to exhaust out the back instead of top.
Installation process was a breeze and straight forward, The thing is powerful and rI barely have to use any speed beyond 2. I like the metal baffles which are nice to maintain, i just throw them into the dishwasher and call it day.
Things to be aware of:
1. this thing is loud , i mean really loud. If you are someone that gets sensory overload or like having conversation while cooking, you are not gonna like this.
2. Since this pulls 700CFM, make sure your HVAC has proper make up air system cause modern houses are sealed pretty well. We usually crack open a window as it was cheaper then getting new HVAC folks in for rework.
3. For some reason the top collects dusty grease, I suspect this is to do with physics of air flowing, I'll leave it upto the experts to tell me why.

Pretty Decent Suction

Pretty good hood vent with good suction. As you can see in the video, on max setting it sucks paper no problem, and solo cups also sucks up without the grates. The only downsides I have so far are that the screws it came with are short and do not seem that secure so I used my own bolt/nut/washers combo, and also one of the fan seems a tad but unbalanced.

Easy to clean and excellent speed settings!

We are very happy with our under cabinet range hood. It's very easy to clean, looks sleek, and is great for heavy-duty use. The suction works very well. The speed settings are excellent - the lowest setting works great for longer use. Overall, highly recommend.

A night and day replacement versus our previous range hood. An obvious upgrade from builder grade to custom as for as appearance and functionality. Love the bright lights, easy to replace. Drip tray makes keeping the counter below clean too easy. Filters just pop into the dishwasher and then boom, new again.

Great hood

Bought the Hauslane for over my Thermador Professional range. Perfect design coordination, perfect function, and a great price. Love the stainless fins sloped to the removable grease tray. This hood is for professional cooks with all tge smoke and grease that goes with a serious food prep. No Barbie make believe.

Nice looking compact hood

We've had this hood for a few years and have been happy with it. It looks nice, the fan and LED light push button features are great, and the fan speeds itself are effective in keeping our kitchen smelling odor free. The only reason why I'm taking off one star is because we've had an issue with the clock/time since we got it. We'll set it and it always goes slower within a few days, resulting in the time not being accurate. We seem to have a glitch which Hauslane is trying to help us fix. Other than this, no complaints!
