Slim design but tough to install

The hood had a nice slim under the counter design. Location of hole on top was too far back and close to wall for a proper 90 degree elbow connection inside the kitchen cabinet. Had to custom make my connection.

Great product once you get it installed

The hood is great and goes great with our stove.Installation instruction were a waste of paper. Not having any instructions would have been just as helpful. I had to disassembly the unit to install. I also had to make aluminum rails to slide the unit into the cabinet area to hold it in place while I did the install work. It was easy to disassemble but when you do there goes the warranty. If you are a handy man around the house you should not have any problem.Paper schematics of the vent and screw holes would have been very helpful.A great product once it is installed, but it seems to me they went to a lot of effort to give the least amount of installation information.

Great Hood !!

Bought this particular hood based on a lot of research and numerous great reviews from independent sites. However it came with original packing tape cut on one end and is heavy so need 2 adults to move box. My husband installed the hood and it took him a total of 8 hours to remove old unit and mount new one. Most of the time was taken to prop it up and position it in the proper place to mount it correctly. The position of mounting screws and exhaust vent of old range & new one were not same. So took much more time then anticipated. However after all his hard work, it looks and works amazingly so far and we are very pleased with the stylish look of it, the brightness of the LED lights, and the great suction and low noise level !!Recommend Hauslane to consider adding few more optional mounting holes, to make it easier to install. For example when one tries to drill pilot hole using power drill for mounting screws, it is not easy because of lack of enough space for power drill head. So had to do it using alternative approach which was tedious.

Strong suction, quite and great customer service!

I purchased this because it's compact and low profile. I've shopped around before making this purchase and all I found were taller and wasn't happy with the design. The fan is strong even at the lowest setting but it does get louder as you set it higher. This is a replacement from the first set I received. The first one had a problem with the front button and was going to let it go but when my contractor installed it that's when I saw a big problem. It sloped to one side and it was really noticeable. I contacted the manufacturer and told them the problem and within 3-4 days they sent me a replacement. Now that's what I call customer service.Update review, 9/3/19. Its been a little over a month since I had the range hood installed. I often times work at night and my wife works during the day so, we haven't been cooking on the daily basis or that often. But today I could not get range hood to turn on at all. I've tried multiple times even tried to warm up my hands and fingers but the main button simply would not come on. The electronic clock is working though. I'm having second thought about this product.

nice piece we had little bit of difficulty to install and there is a bit of gap around 1 inch behind the hood as our cobinets were already installed.
