Well designed and does its job

Great range hood. Installation was easy, and the design is clean and well thought out. It pulls steam out quickly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I love that the parts clean up in the dishwasher. My one note: lining the fan guard back up after removing it for cleaning can be a little tricky, but it’s completely worth the effort.

We purchased this unit in 2019 and have loved it ever since. The fan blower power is fantastic, the front panel display is bright and easy to use but the easiest thing is cleaning. Screens remove and clean very simply.
This unit is amazing and I highly recommend the unit.

Hauslane UC-PS18 review

This exhaust hood is the best part of the kitchen renovation! I used to run around turning off smoke detectors every time I cooked, now with proper ventilation, I can cook comfortably. It is quiet and powerful.

Premium Quality and Outstanding Performance
on October 15, 2026

After using this for a month, I can confidently say it was an excellent purchase. The craftsmanship is impressive, and you can tell it's built to last. The included microfiber cloth is a nice bonus for keeping the stainless steel looking great. What impressed me most was the powerful suction combined with how quiet it runs. I'm extremely satisfied with both the quality and performance and would gladly recommend it to others.

Powerful fan great lights

The fan is legitimately powerful, pulling smoke and steam off the cooking area. The built in lights are actually useful at illuminating the cook top unlike other brands. The only negative is the display has malfunctioned. Fortunately, support is working to resolve this issue.

Hauslane UC-PS18 (Refurbished) - Best Upgrade
on September 29, 2026

Looking to replace a microwave/hood, home is stinks after cooking a home cooked meal? Look no more the UC-PS18 is strong enough to deal with typical Asian cooking with grease flying everywhere. The baffle are super easy to clean and can be through into the dishwasher.
Install is definitely a 3 person job, but their online video on youtube helps give you an idea what is needed.
