Just installed the PS18 and this is a great improvement over the base GE hood vent we had prior. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The appliance itself runs very smoothly with the 2 fans that operate a lot quieter than others that move the same amount of air. Does a good job removing contaminants from the air.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as quiet as I had hoped, but still OK (my local retail stores never have power to the hoods, so there is no way to tell). Much harder to install that the online video showed (those back screws were a b****). The ventilation grates had a plastic protective wrap, but the hood didn't; my hood suffered a minor scratch during install because there was no protective wrap.
