Doesn't Work with Car Mount

The previous version worked great with their car mount but I accidentally broke that one so I ordered this thinking it would be exactly the same just without the adhesive. But unfortunately it does not stick to the car mount well at all and the phone pops off at bumps on the road. The other features work well so on it's own it's fine but I mainly wanted this for the car so I am disappointed.

I’ve had the Snap Grip since Snap 3 and I will say they just keep getting better and better!! Snap Grip 5 is great, removable and can be changed case to case a lot easier than past versions. I will say, I am having more trouble with it sticking to the car mount than I did with the 4th gen. Colors are great!! There is so much variety, but I do miss the copper/brown color from the 4th gen. Bring back brown!

Doesn't close smooth, can't open with 1 hand

The "spring" pieces that pop the disc out do not close without having to use finger and fold them down. Also the disc doesn't pop out with one hand as advertised.

Unfortunately the finger grip/stand are quite flimsy and the stand fails to reliably prop the phone.

I gave the snap grip to my wife this morning for her birthday. We bought it in the express hopes that it would allow for MagSafe charging as her case is also MagSafe, but she presently has a thicker bulky mag pop socket, and we wanted the thinner profile. Unfortunately the snap grip does not charge with her case. If we remove the snap grid then the phone (iPhone 16Pro) charges just fine via MagSafe. Unfortunately the Snap Grid doesn’t allow for charging in conjunction with her case even though it too has Mag Safe. Is there a remedy?

Really feels flimsy and awkward to hold. Bought because it was advertised as “charge-thru” but if you read the FAQ’s, it’s not charge thru. That was literally the only reason I bought it. Feels like a bit of a bait’n’switch but I probably should have researched better.

I got this hoping I wouldn't have to take it off to wirelessly charge. But on my S26 ultra, my partner's S25, and my buddy's S25 ultra, I couldn't charge without taking it off.I love how thin it is. It'd be tough to get used to after being a PopSocket user for so long. If I could wirelessly charge without taking it off, I'd be all in.
