Magnets don’t work.

I’ve purchased a snap before and never had a problem. This time it’s different, the magnets aren’t holding well at all and my phone has taken a few falls off of surfaces it used to hold on to. It’s a shame, this was a good product before.

A step back in functionality

I previously used the first generation snap grip. While I did not initially care for the adhesive ring, I realized it may be MagSafe phone mount much more effective. In upgrading to this newer generation and the elimination of the adhesive ring, the magnet is much weaker. I use a Belkin wireless charger on my desk, and I used to be able to just slide the phone onto it and it would snap into place. With the second generation snap grip in place, the adherence is much weaker, and can be knocked off very easily. If I remove the snap grip, the snap case will provide a strong magnetic attraction to the Belkin mount. I have to use two fingers to hold onto the snap grip. It is physically impossible for me to put my finger through the snap grip and use it as a one finger hold. I do have large hands but I did not think this would be the case. Overall, it's not as easy to grab as a PopSocket; with those you can pop it open and slide your fingers under; I cannot snap open the snap grip one-handed

Made grip possible!

I have been wanting a phone grip, but I use a wallet case that already adds thickness to my phone. This grip is perfect because its so thin, and also easy to remove when I use a differnt magnet mount in my car. The rotation makes it comfortable no matter how I use it. And the color matches my case! Very pleased!

Good but not as magnetic

I really enjoy my snap grip. I’ve had every iteration. This current grip has more coating and therefore is not as magnetic. It does adhere to my night charger and car charger although at times it falls off the car charger of if I go over a bump. In addition, it will NOT work with a wireless magnetic charger I own. Disappointed about that.

I love that it’s so flat so when I lay my phone down it still feels & looks so thin, I hate the bulkiness of a regular PS.. & I use it as a fidget, it just pops & snaps.. i’m about to buy more colors 😩

Ultra thin, strong magnets, wireless charging compatibility , 1 or 2 finger grip hold.If the price was a little bit lower i will be advertising that grip to everyone i know, but with the quality and the features it has i understand the higher price tag that it has.Product 10/10

Poor magnetic adhesion

Being a loyal customer for several years, I thought I would upgrade to the SG 5.0 magnetic version. To my surprise I was very disappointed with the performance thus far. I ordered two and one remains in the package and will not be used. The other one replaced the adhesive version which worked great once the clip was improved. The newest version fails to stay magnetically attached to phone mounts and continuously becomes dislodged. So many times now that it can no longer be mounted while driving, which all but defeats the purpose of it. Again, never had that issue with the adhesive SG 4.0.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great grip but...

I’m on my 4th oh snap grip. I love the device itself but eventually it loses the ability to snap back in place. Which can be very annoying when trying to place it in your pocket or placing it on a charger. I have to remove the grip itself if I want my phone to lay flat. I would give this 5 stars if I didn’t constantly run into this issue.
