Snap 4 was better

I bought a snap five because I wanted the color to match my phone and now it does, but this new grip doesn’t attach as well to the phone mount in my car or my charger. Also, the crib falls off easily from the phone because it doesn’t have the adhesive like the 4. I have an iPhone and had to attach the additional sticker Magnet so that it can stay on my phone securely. So right now I have to take out the grip to attach it to those items which is annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

light, nearly flat, a bit difficult to get fingers in but once in, it is comfortable.

I loved the idea of the ohsnap grip from the beginning, especially with their super cool commercials that they sadly don’t make anymore. But, I didn’t purchase one until the 5th generation as it wasn’t MagSafe. Well, now it is, and let me tell you, it’s the best grip out there. I’ve had a bunch of grips and they all fail in comparison. Thinner than your camera bump, but sturdy, just buy it, you won’t regret it

Not for big fingers

It's lightweight and thin which is about the only thing I like about it. The hinges dig into my fingers when using 2 fingers or shelf mode, and it's tight on my finger when using it with 1 finger thru the middle of the hinges. Would be nice if it had a couple of different "heights" when locking the disc into place. A couple of times the hinge won't close correctly and I have to bend it back into place to get it to close. Honestly if I didn't throw the box away I would send it back.

The grip was to allow MagSafe charging while in place. This only happens once in a while. Sometimes charging will even start and then go away. If I remove the grip charging works perfectly, so the issue the Grip 5 does not perform.

Best grip! Use with 1 or 2 fingers. Secure, strong magnet; multiple options for using it; great colors—glad I got mine before most sold out.

Pretty disappointed

I had tried some other phone holders before spending the 40 on an ohsnap. I was excited about the magnet feature and was looking forward to using it on the golf cart or at the gym. My phone slide right down the refrigerator the minute I tried it haha. Most likely returning the product. Also the color is completely different shade that what I expected. Save your money please

Feels a little fragile. Not sure how long the plastic will hold up. A bit pricy for what it is. Too tight to use the single finger option. Feels like it might break getting g it into the stand feature.
