This is my 2nd one and even though I was sent the wrong color I am still going to keep it. I do not care about color I care about functionality! This is such a simple yet great idea. It’s flat so you do not know it is there. It is magnetic so you can use a battery or stick it to your gym equipment. Read this review and then go buy one. I will be purchasing a 3rd and 4th soon for my family.

This grip is a home run! Works perfect on a MagSafe case, doesn’t get in the way in and out of jeans pockets and charges with no issues. Worth the investment!

I had the snap 4 luxe and it was way better than the snap 5. The snap 5 feels cheap and the magnets are awful. The 4 would stick to anything and everything the first try, now the 5 has to be positioned right for it to work on a charger or stand and if you try and put it on a fridge or workout equipment it just slides down because the magnets are not strong at all anymore. Complete downgrade and waste of money. I threw my snap 5 in the trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Snap Grip works great but there’s one thing about it that I found problematic. There’s a clear piece of plastic on the back of the grip; the side that faces your phone. It looks like the type of plastic that’s intended to be removed once you receive the product. I removed mine with scissors only to realize it’s there to protect your phone from the spinning mechanism of the grip. Maybe if the packaging was more clear about its purpose or if the plastic was a different, more premium feeling material, there wouldn’t have been this confusion.

slim but difficult to use

I love that this grip allows my phone to lay flat without a case, but it’s not easy to use. Once it’s up it works fine, but I have to use two hands to get it out of its holder (one to steady the phone and the other to maneuver the grip). The “one-finger” style of use makes my finger go numb because it is too tight, and my fingers aren’t wildly large. The kickstand feature takes too long to adjust. ’ll be returning & likely returning to a pop socket.

Not nearly as strong as the Luxe 4 on iphone

Not nearly as strong as the lux4 and when I tried to remove it the plastic near the hinges cracked. I have had a luxe 4 for over a year and it has been great but the new version does not seem to be as high quality.

Hooray! The snap grip stays with my phone after using a wireless charger! Only downside is that it seems to heat up relatively quickly when on the charger.
