Keeps falling off

I got this about July this pass year and randomly when I would be laying down with my phone the socket would detach and my phone would fall on my face. I also have had it detach while connected vertically to a metallic object while at the gym. Feels good when you aren't worried about it falling off

Nice but slightly disappointing

I bought this about a month ago and it’s been working well in general. After about two weeks, the rotation function stopped working well and gliding smoothly. At times, I can’t get it to rotate at all, which is very frustrating. I’ve tried cleaning it out with compressed air, which only helps for a few minutes. Bummed that it now doesn’t work very well for my needs.

Hard to beat

TLDR- this grip holds up well, is easily moved to a new case, and the charge through function is super handy.I bought the luxe grip about a year ago for my iPhone 15 pro max and used it until I upgraded to the 16 pro max. I didn’t trust their claims that it could be removed and used on another case, and I wanted to be able to swap MagSafe accessories so I bought a MagSafe ring grip instead. That’s exactly what lead to me writing this review. During those months without my oh snap grip, I was constantly annoyed because I obviously had to remove the ring grip to charge my phone and I would forget to grab it in the morning or would knock it off my night stand and have to search for it. The ability to charge through the grip doesn’t seem like that big of a deal but it really is a simple thing that just makes life easier. I have tiny hands so holding such a large phone without a grip just isn’t comfortable. Another thing I learned to appreciate is the fact the oh snap grip really does stay on the phone until you purposely remove it. I drop my phone a LOT, and most of the time the ring grip would pop off and I’d end up hunting it down. It was especially annoying when driving since I use a magnetic mount. My luxe grip is admittedly pretty scuffed up from all the drops it endured but it always stayed put. I recently bought a second case for my 16 pro max, and the ring grip I’ve only had for 2 months is barely useable so I decided to test how reusable the oh snap grip really is. It was easy enough to remove from the 15 case it was still living on, and I was surprised to see it left next to no residue that was easily wiped off even after a year of being on the case. I popped it right on to the new phone case and sure enough, it’s just as secure as it was on the first case. The mechanism still works perfectly and is honestly much more comfortable than the ring ever was. It also has a much stronger hold when attaching my phone to metal surfaces. The oh snap grip is also thin enough to easily use with other accessories. If you’re on the fence I can tell you these grips are well worth buying.

No S-Pen functionality

I wanted so badly to like this product. I wanted something that I could wirelessly charge thru without having to take off a popsocket every time. I had the 3 and liked it a lot, but broke rather quickly. I loved that this had a magnetic closure instead if the plastic which would fix the issue I had with the 3 breaking. But once I put it on my phone, I immediately began getting messages that the magnet was interfering with s-pen functionality so I couldn't use the s-pen effectively without removing the case. It also wouldn't charge thru even though the 3 did in the same place on the same case. I wish they'd make one that was more Samsung specific friendly instead of everything magsafe.

won't work portrait?

maybe I was misled. The finger grip is good and if that is what you are looking for, i think its a nice produce. The landscape kickstand works ok...but does not hold an 15 pro max in portrait kickstand mode...that was the main thing i wanted, but it keeps on tipping over and I cannot keep it upright.A little disappointed :(

Just got it yesterday, this is my first oh snap product. Plastic feels a little flimsy so we’ll see how it holds up. The kickstand works, but there is definitely room to make it more precise. The magnet is very strong so it easily stays on anything metal (the is my favorite part). My only big issue so far is that my magsafe car mount keeps pulling off the oh snap grip from my phone (I used the adhesive as well) so now I have to try and pull the grip off the mount every time I use it which is very annoying. I’ll prob have to put a spacing layer on the mount so the magnet isn’t so strong. Overall, I like it, but think they still have room for improvement.

Bad Adhesive

This needed a lot more testing. The adhesive doesn't stay stuck, even on the vinyl pad made for phones or cases that don't stick well. If you use their magnetic charger, the heat generated by charging warms the adhesive then peels the grip right off the phone. More than once, the weight of the phone alone was enough to separate them. Also, this new grip style is significantly harder to open up one handed than the V2 model. Very disappointing.
