In theory it sounded fool proof, IRL not. The stickers and rings are not labeled and may not stick to your case. One stick and that’s it. The inside hinge is fragile, made for indoors only, flat clean surfaces. Not for pics or streaming anywhere but at the table. Disappointed in quality and value.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mixed feelings

So I’m two deep and one down. I have a red luxe on my phone for some time now with no issues. I recently purchased my daughter a blue one for her birthday in August based on my experience, and now a day into October she came home with it in pieces. Seems odd, possibly defective maybe, I doubt she did anything wildly destructive given that nothing else is damaged and she’s not all that rough with her phone. To continue on writing an overall formal review I’ll say this, it is a better companion to a naked phone to be able to utilize all of the features correctly. On a naked iPhone it nicely offsets the ridiculous camera island on the back and makes it easier to hold on to. If you do use a case it will need to be a MagSafe compatible case, reason being the adhesive will not do anything for you, however the magnets will definitely hold on. Which raises a different issue - charging. MagSafe charging with ohsnap on a naked phone - good no problem. MagSafe charging with a case without ohsnap - no problem. MagSafe charging with ohsnap on a magsafe case - problem, obviously. There’s just too many layers between the charger and the battery. What ends up happening is the ohsnap just gets really hot and the phone will not charge. After all that the luxe is cool and a nice accessory. The magnetic features are nice, I find myself fidgeting with it a lot especially in my pocket popping it open and closed lol. The low profile style is major plus. But 50/50 durability for the money not so hot.

Sleek but Unreliable: Adhesion Issues Make This a Miss

I was really excited about this product at first – the ultra-thin design is fantastic. But after less than a week, the Ohsnap Snap 4 Luxe completely lost its grip, and my Samsung S23 Ultra hit the ground.The adhesive is the main issue. It simply won’t hold, especially with my phone in a case. While the grip itself is a great idea, it constantly falls off, making it unreliable. I followed all the care instructions – cleaning it properly, using the replacement adhesive kit, and even applying the vinyl sticker for better adhesion – but none of it worked.I’ve used PopSockets before and never had an issue with the adhesive, nor did I ever need to replace it. But with this product, after going through two adhesive strips, I’ve had to resort to using crazy glue to keep it attached, which is far from ideal. As much as I love the sleek design, I’d prefer something more durable that won’t risk damaging my phone. Unfortunately, this product just didn’t live up to expectations.
