Brilliant little widget!

This little widget solved a problem I’ve had ever since I got my first iPhone. It’s slim and slick and downright sexy. I’ve always had trouble mounting my phone in my car, and after getting this ohsnap! That problem is over. I drive a Volkswagen Tiguan, and there are these little slits in the dash (not vents) and I’m not sure of their purpose. But I’m able to slide this device into one of the slits and it holds securely and allows me to navigate without looking down at my phone. Brilliant work!

I bought a Snap 4 Luxe to replace the bulky ring-like grip/stand that was previously on the back of my phone—it didn’t fit in my pocket, it felt super flimsy, and my phone never laid flat.
Not only did the Snap 4 Luxe remedy ALL of that, but I can stick it to everything metal—and I do: microwave or fridge while I’m in the kitchen, napkin dispenser at restaurants, metal guardrails upstairs at the coffee shop…you name it, I’m trying it.
This little doohickey has been a (very sturdy) game changer!

The grip is great, I love this thing and the only improvement I would make on it is that the plastic part of the grip where your fingers grip, if that was metal and had stronger magnets holding it closed. That way you could attach it magnetically to any mount or metal. It’s hard to find a big magnet for a car mount needed for multiple cars. I’m not sure if it’s the grip or if wireless charging is just terrible but wireless charging is super slow. The grip itself is phenomenal and I advise anyone that talks about how great it looks to get one as well.

Its nice, the thin profile and tapered edge makes it almost unnoticeable transferring to or from a pocket. It rotates well and is easy to flip open and has a satisfying click to close, good for fidgeting. Downsides are that it is easier to pop off the phone than expected, when magnetized to something I need to lift one side of the phone off at a time as trying to lift all at once will leave the snap behind. Also, the two protruding aspects on the center disk would cause my phone to teeter and wobble if using on a flat surface. I used a dremel and removed those two points and now it sits flat and I have no issue opening without them. Maybe the design could incorporate two recessed textured areas instead of the protrusion in the future. Overall a satisfying product. Thank you.

My ohsnap is sturdy and looks like it came with my case. I have the spigen rugged armor case and the ohsnap sticks to it perfectly! I cleaned it with alcohol and stuck it on. Shortly after I stuck it on I decided I wanted it a tiny bit lower so I peeled it off and I was surprised at how well it stuck. It reapplied just the same as the first time and had been stuck every since. It's works great. It's a great fidget toy. It wirelessly charges. It's super thin. The magnet allows me to stick it to the refrigerator or anything magnetic and flat. It gives plenty of confidence that it is secure on my hand. All in all I would highly recommend one!
