Nice but…

I’ve had three of the Snap 2.0 and I do enjoy them until the little inside arm snaps. So when I saw there was an updated version, I ordered right away. I will say it is sleeker and I love how it magnets down. But I was disappointed to find that the arm stands are still plastic and I thought they would be made of metal as well, especially with the fact that it’s 34+ $.

Much better than the 3 but wireless charging no longer works

I have a Pixel 8 and used to have the ohsnap 3, but the adhesive kept failing on it. I really liked the grip and the ability to wirelessly charge, but it wouldn't stay attached to my phone. The adhesive in the 4 is greatly improved and it has been holding strong ever since I put it on. I'm able to do everything I wanted to do with the 3.
My only problem is that I can not wirelessly charge with the 4. I looked up a teardown of the phone to find exactly where the charging coil is and put the Snap 4 directly over it. No dice. It connects to the charger, and then the charger starts flashing and my phone stops charging. I don't know if it's the metal ring that interferes or what, but I can't get it to connect. I don't know if an actual magnetic charger would work better or not, I don't want to risk wasting money on it and have it not work either.

I love the newest one but it keeps coming off my phone. I even tried gluing it and then the thingy (what is it called?) won't twist. Please help!

This is the best Ohsnap! yet. The magnets that hold it ahut are miles ahead of the snap that was used on the Ohsnap 3. My only complaint ia the 2 knobs on the disc. They stop the grip from sitting flat and cauae your device to rock side to side if you try using it while its lying on a flat surface.

Love that its still Slim but a few issues

Received my new Snap 4 Luxe. Looks great and love that it’s slim. Having used the previous versions I was excited to get this new sleek version. Overall, functions well if not better compared to previous models. However, unlike previous versions I have encountered issues with it sometimes not charging with MagSafe devices, and when it does it gets very hot around the edge that i need to let it cool off.

Best investment

Found out pretty quickly that a folding phone is hard to hold with one hand. Since getting the Snap 4 Luxe I've been able to watch full screen videos on my unfolded phone in bed without having it fall on my face.
Also I can't actually decide between cats and dogs, I love both.

Replacement from previous version

This version last longer than the previous snap 3. I had snap 3 twice and both only lasted 3 to 4 months max with the hinges breaking and won't stay down any longer. First one was replaced with no questions asked and when that also broke, they upgraded me to this product and so far it's holding up and it's almost 4 months! In all seriousness, I hope this one last longer.

Love it BUT…

This is my second ohsnap grip and I love the grip itself. What I don’t love is that the wireless charger does not work with any case that is thick enough to protect your phone. The option is then using a subpar case or remove the case to charge. I will continue looking for a better case because it love this set.
