Pure honest review from a Speck-loving customer

I had mixed feelings about this case. Since I got my first iPhone in 2014 and found Speck, every year I buy many different Speck cases. I collect them- I change my case pretty often, and speck is a brand that I trust through all of my many many drops, as well as looking very nice, and being slim. That being said, I was kind of surprised about the texture and feel of the Presidio 2 case. It honestly feels kind of cheap and flimsy, like a 1-ply case, which is VERY unusual for my beloved Speck cases. The edges around my screen are very sharp- they make me nervous that it will scratch my screen. The back fingerprints easily, yet somehow it is hard to wipe the fingerprints completely off. And there's some weird discoloration in the inside of the case on one side... not sure what that's about. One pro is that the color is basically what is pictured, which you never know with online purchases. Oh, and the buttons do press easily. But I'm definitely disappointed. I've had literal dozens of the cases Speck makes, and never had one that has put me off so much like this one. Would I buy this case again? Probably not. But maybe I got a 1-off, weirdly cut case. Please do view other Speck cases. I love this brand, they've definitely saved me a lot from my phone drops, and they usually really are gorgeous cases. But maybe just not this one.

This is a good case with a simple design and durable. It's a little expensive considering it has no design/grip/features. It does have a tendency to show fingerprints/dirt here and there, but it otherwise is a reliable case.

Great case especially for those prone to dropping phone

Smooth feeling and slim, like that there aren't covers any more over charging port. Holding up well, able to attach popsocket wallet without extra glue. Had prior model and dropped it more times than I care to admit, no screen cracks or breaks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really pleased with the Presidio 2 iphone case. It's very sturdy, fits great, and provides me with a good sense of protection. I've been searching for a case with good drop protection, and this one was on several recommended lists. It doesn't add a ton of bulk to the phone either so it still fits well in pockets. I would definitely buy it again. #sweepstakes

I've had two speck cases prior to this one and loves each of them. I bought this because there was so presidio sport version. It does work with magsafe , but does not "click" like other cases I have. The case is also not as soft and really is just not as impressive as my other speck cases.
