Nice set but…

This is a beautiful set but if you have cupboards over the counter tops do not buy. You can’t get the knives without moving the block from under the cupboards; not enough angle. Had to return and get the angled block. This set would be great for an open kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was given a set of "lower end" henckels knives as a gift several years ago and have enjoyed them tremendously. I have wanted a set of "pro series" knives for some time influenced by my previous experience. as I have recently, gradually become our primary household cook, I felt justified in the indulgence. my expectations have been vastly exceeded. the knives are visually beautiful, handle well and cut quickly and precisely through any food to which they are applied. my only regret is that I waited as long as I did to own them.

We went for the larger set because it included the steak knives. Love these knives. So incredibly comfortable. I'm not a professional but I feel like a Pro when I use them. The angled block look great on my counter and makes it really easy to grab the knife I need.

This set of Pro knives are housed in a unique shaped block allowing safe storage for the curved bolster. Bolster design permits precision and effortless cutting just like a professional. Purchasing as a set made for added savings over buying the steak set and each knife individually.

This 12pc set includes all of the amazing knives you need in the kitchen plus a few that you'll be surprised you'll actually use. The unique, slanted block makes it comfortable for the curved-bolstered knives to fit in their slots.

I like that this block has additional slots for other Zwilling Pro blades I already own. This is a great assortment of knives in this block set. The slots fit perfectly for this particular collection, and it’s a really cool design.

This is an updated version of the set I received as a wedding gift 28 years ago. I love these knives. I sharpen them on occasion and have never had an issue with any of them.
The grip is super comfortable and I like that I can use every inch of the blade. I like to mince at the back edge of the knife and this style is perfect for that.

That heavy block will hold your Pro knife in place and secure and compact for your kitchen counter. This set includes 4pc. Pro steak set, worth the value. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. Hone your knife once in a while for better edge retention.
