Consider this a novelty coop

Pros: Adorable. Easy to set up. The wire is secured nicely to the wood (but more on that later). It smells nice.
Cons: The quality! I know this is a cheap coop, but you get what you pay for. I needed a coop and was relying on this one coming when it did so I couldn't exactly return it and still have a place for my chickens. However, I will be continuing to look for an upgraded coop and will use this one as my temporary coop. My specific complaints are as follows...
The wood is incredibly soft and light, and I expect it to rot rather quickly given our mid-Atlantic weather. I purchased this knowing I would have to expand the run (which I did), but it was very difficult securing anything to the coop or run because of how soft and wood is. It cracks very easily. Additionally, the framing for the door to the coop has already come off with a relatively gentle bump, and a few of the pieces came damaged.
It also did not come with a way to secure the run to the coop, which is very odd to me given it is marketed as a chicken coop, and leaving the run disconnected from the coop is a sure-fire way to get your chickens killed.
There are no locks on the doors - just a simple wooden piece that any fox could easily wiggle loose. I do fear that with how soft this wood is, a predator could pull the wire off of the wood. In fact, I'm about 100% sure this is possible as we had a fox tear apart stronger wire in the past.
Ultimately I had to make a lot of modifications to make this work as a chicken coop I am comfortable with. I would not purchase this coop had I known of the quality.
Easiest thing I've ever assembled. Decent space for the money. Could be a little more sturdy, as I picked it up to move it. One side of the roof came unglued from the support beam. Easy fix, but should've came nailed to the supper beam. Other wise, my chickens are happy
Great size for two ducks, especially when they were approx one month old. They're now fully grown and eating more than they should be, so it's a little snug when they're walking into their house and coming out. There is a larger back door, so the plan is to rotate the house and move the ramp to that door for them, so they're not sucking their bellies in each time they want to enter or leave their house. Beautiful house design, we receive compliments all the time for it.
