Although the product did not arrive exactly like shown in the images, I am more than satisfied with what I got. There is sufficient room for what I needed, and was incredibly easy to assemble. As a bonus, it arrived the day after ordering! Which was a lot earlier than expected.

Ok ok, I must admit, I thought hamster cage = small, didn't really think to look at measurements just made an assumption about the size. I encourage you to look at the dimensions, this thing is huge, wider than our Ikea Kallax unit. Love it nonetheless. Hamsters are having a great time exploring...when they are awake.

This cage is so nice a big! I actually didn't think it was difficult to assemble (it's not a ikea instruction but very doable). I also sanded some edges like others mentioned in their review. My Syrian hamster was quite unhappy in his previous cage and seems much better with so much space! The quality is okay for me; I'm not handy enough to design a cage and cut the wood so this was perfect. The trey that comes out (bottom) is super helpful for cleaning.

Neat and Tidy

A tidy unit that hides away the cat litter tray. I had to get a smaller litter tray as it couldn't fit in the one I had. Looks good in the corner of the room, and helps contain the smells. I feel that a stiff wind could blow this apart, but it's sturdy enough to keep a plant pot or two on top... (plus a curious cat who likes to climb around).

Meets Minimum Requirement Of 80x50cm And Allows For Deep Burrowing

Disclaimer: this is ONLY suitable for two gerbils, or one hamster and MUST be waterproofed before using.I posted about this on my Instagram @colliespets and got similar feedback.This cage meets the minimum requirement of 80X50cm per hamster, or 100x50cm per pair of gerbils, and is great for my roborovski hamster, who loves to burrow. I go by German guidelines to make his habitat more enriching, and he's a lot happier then when in the hamster heaven.I buy 20kg of tea bag bedding for ¡ê10, and use 5-6kg in this cage so it lasts a long time (most pet shop bedding are toxic) and this does a good job at letting my hamster have the 8" minimum burrowing room they need.

Instructions are poor and plastic front is weak

Instructions were poor and plastic front is rather flismy and not easy to clean as front doesn't open so bad back after cleaning lol
