i bought this for my chinchilla and it is perfect!

perfect for my chinchilla. its tall and big for her to run and jump up and down the platforms, plus they are messy and they throw things so the paper litter gets out of their cages but this cage keeps everything inside the cage. i bought another for my male chinchilla as well.

Very nice solid cage. Perfect for a small rodent such as rats, chinchilla, squirrel etc. The shelves are plastic so that is the onlypart our squirrel chewed on.

GREAT FOR ADULT RATSI saw some mixed reviews for this cage, but Amazon is good with returns so I figured I'd take a chance and I am soo happy with this cage, more importantly so are my little bubs! We need to get some more toys in here...First I wanted to talk about the things that scared me in other reviews>>Ramps falling: So far my ramps look very sturdy and are in place well. I think people may have had issues with the ramps coming dislodges and falling because they do take some finagling to get them into place correctly. Will update if that changes, but I'm confident for the time being!>>Pets hurt falling: This cage is definitely for animals that climb, I saw that people's pets may have gotten hurt falling, so that's something to be mindful of. I would not buy this for animals that aren't agile or at least durable lol, luckily my rats are both.>>Broken legs/feet: Another issue that almost scared me off, was that people's pets had broken their legs and hurt their feet on the grate at the bottom. I've removed the grate from mine (it's removable by design) and plan on using it only when removing the bin to change their bedding. An added bonus for rat owners is that the basin becomes SUPER deep so you can add lots of stuff for burrowing animals like rats.>>Babies: The bars on this cage are about an inch apart, so you really don't want to buy this if you plan on adding young/baby rats into your pack. My average size female rats are the perfect size.>>Chewers: If your pets chew this may not be the cage for you. Mine chew out of plastic cages after some months of working at it lazily, and metal cages haven't been easy to clean for me. So, I've settled into the fact that I'll need to replace mine ~6 months. Luckily, this cage has a shorter and cheaper version that I can purchase to replace the base when the time comes.>>Bar climbing: horizontal bar spacing is a little far for rats climbing, they're getting used to it though! We had a few falls early on though.okay, no more negatives haha! onto the things that I like!>>Color is amazing!>>Plastic platforms are easy to remove and clean>>The doors are HUGE, I can stick my whole head in through them o_o>>Pull out litter drawer, this is a freaking game changer!>>Very secure latching mechanism for doors

Easy maintenance all around great ferret home

Easy to clean does not have the wire bars on bottom trays which i like for ferrets feet. The ramps are a little bit of a pain to put on and off some have commented they don't stay on but I have not had that problem with a ferret. All in all its a great home for a ferret!

Best money I could have spent

I love this so much. Super easy to assemble. My cat couldn't be happier. I've bought various things for outside for my cat but this is the only one that has really worked. I put t-shirts on the shelves for him and a blanket over the top thick some shade. But he really loves it. It was great value for the money. It is sturdy and yet not too heavy to move by myself or with two people.

I had been wanting to build a catio for my two kitties. They live outside but I don?t let them roam so this way I can keep them safe while they still get all the outdoor time they want. I used a cat carrier to connect the window to the cage and it is working great

It is amazing ! I love it no way my ferret can get out of here its so easy to clean its beautiful big and a great price thank you! The customer service is amazing said if anything was wrong they were there 100%

This is so great for the price. I got it for outside on my balcony so she can safely sit outside in the sun. It seemed difficult to assemble on my own because 2 sides and the top are connected and you just have to clip together the other 2 of the sides. If you lay it on its already connected side with the bottom of it sitting vertically, it becomes very easy to assemble. Just a tip!
