works well as long as you modify the ramps

The cage does the job. As others have said, the ramps don't hold up under ANY pressure. If you install them the way they tell you to your animal WILL fall at some point. With that said however; if you change out the ramps for hammocks this is perfect for one or maybe two ferrets to spend their sleeping time in. Just be sure your giving them plenty of out of cage exercise time also. I use it in my ferret room as extra height space and bed options. It also works well as a "hospital" cage when I need to separate someone from the group.

Good cage but beware of stairs!!

Love this cage. It's easy to clean and assemble. The only thing that I wished was made better are the stairs. The stairs are wobbly and slippery for my bunny's feet. My bunny fell when she first tried to use the stairs to the 2nd level, luckily she didn't get hurt. So I had to find a way to make the stairs more sturdier. In the other pic u can see I used a grass mat and a piece of cloth tied with a hair band to hold the mat in place. Now that I did this the stairs work like a charm and my bunny is more comfortable using it. I haven't had any more falls after that. I also love that this has wheels so I can move the cage easily from one place to another.

Great bunny cage

Ok first of all the cage is amazing for our bunny. Great size, easy to clean, however I am worried about the urine build up on the first floor. The whole idea is to open the tray under the cage and clean it, however later you realize that you need to clean the top above the tray as well. We have pellets in the tray that absorb the urine so the tray stays protected but not sure what we can do for the following platform above the tray.

Once assembled not easiest to clean apart from the fact it has a tray (that¡¯s easy) but it¡¯s the wiping down of platforms that¡¯s not the easiest. But overall I¡¯m happy and the rats are too.

A great cage (home) for a small animal or two.

The first thing I have to say about this product is the packaging. It arrives in a reasonably sized box, however it is packaged like a Rolls Royce. It is Excellently packed and wrapped inside the box. Assembly was fairly straight forward and I had it together in less than 5 mins.The Door once opened acts like a ramp for our rabbit to come and go as she pleases, which I think is a great feature.Our cage is home to a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit, and I would say this is the largest animal that should fit inside it. Ours is a house rabbit so it only tends to sleep in it through the night or whenever she wants some "me" time to herself throughout the day.The 3 Tiers make it more spacious, and our bunny likes to nap on the different levels.The Stairs that come with it are strong plastic, but can be a little fiddley to put into place, but trial and error and with regular removal for cleaning etc, its not that bad and you soon get used to doing it.As ours is home to a larger animal I think the stairs are not quite "Grippy" enough and don't provide enough traction for her when running up and down them, so I ordered some anti-slip Grip tape (basically sandpaper cello tape) and applied it to every other step and this has made a massive difference to them.Its easy to clean and easy to access.Overall its a very nice cage, well worth a purchase.

Not suitable for young rats

The cage is easy to clean and looks great, but the bar spacing is way too big for young rats. Ideally it should have specified for rats over a certain age. Other than that it's pretty good and the rats enjoy it (when they're not plotting their next escape)
