Cute

As a first time chicken mom, I searched high and low for a budget coop. I'm really happy with this one. It's small, but perfect for my two girls. Very easy to put together - I did it unassisted within an hour. I made some tweaks though!

Young Chicken House or Batam

This is just the right size for chicks after they get their feathers that maintain their own heat. 2 to 8 month old chicks. I like the full roof to protect from heat and rain.. Great for Bantam chickens. Full size chickens not enough room for them to move around. * Where you raise them they will return at night to roost.*

Needed some extra predator proofing

Easy to put together. We are using for two rabbit. Would be pretty tight for two full size chicken. We move it daily so rabbit get fresh grass and added wire on bottom so they can¡¯t dig out.

Chicken palace

So I've recently acquired a silky chicken, he's 7 months old and I've never owned a chicken, I was told he wasn't going to get very big so I decided on a small coop like this one, it is very small but he seems to be pretty cozy, so as long as it holds up and he uses it then I'm happy.

Only for locking up at night
on June 28, 2020

This is solely for sleeping, being safe and locked up at night. Chickens should free range. Between buying the supplies, tools and painting/staining to help it last longer and time to make it's a great price for 1-4 chickens. To sleep in only, at dusk of course.

Sturdy and easy to assemble.

Easy to assemble. My husband modified it to add a house on back end. The girls are very happy. The only thing I would change is the door closure as it sometimes is difficult to secure.

Fair price for a decent product

We are happy with the product. I thought it was fairly easy to assemble, except the door took a few tries. You will need extra zip ties and will need to reinforce the bottom to protect your livestock from predators. A fisher cat tried to attack our chickens and was not able to get in. I waited a few months to make a review because I wanted to make sure it stayed sturdy, but we have had no problems. So far it has been able to withstand a sticky snow storm, a tornado watch and a few hurricane-like storms. I think the price is fair for the product. A few poles in the box were dented or bent but it didnt effect the integrity of the structure. My chickens are very happy.

Sets up fast

I like this so much I bought two. Easy to assemble. It is a light to medium weight kennel. We bought one for our chickens and liked it so much we bought another for our turkeys. Two small coops (sized for 4 chickens) fit inside with plenty of room left for them to roam on the days we can¡¯t let them free range. For the turkeys we added heavy duty tarps to weatherproof and insulate for nighttime housing (they are free range daytime). Depending on your predator type and population, extra wire and blocking at the bottom will secure it better. The chicken wire provided is coated and easier to work with than uncoated wire. One complaint is the zip ties, which are light and easily broken. I suggest at least supplementing with some heavier duty ties or cage clips.
