The overall construction of the cage is high quality and sturdy. The way the cage is assembled is a little like a puzzle box with slightly off holes, but with two people, we managed to get it put together with relative ease.

As someone who has owned rats for 7 years, I absolutely love these cages. the bars are close enough where even baby rats can't get out and everything is easy to wipe and clean when I fo my bi-weekly cage cleaning. The ramps are easy for the rats to climb up and down, and even though this cage came with plastic ramps instead of the metal bar ramps I received before.

It's a great size, added a pic of it by my 7 year old. We have two small rats in there and they have plenty of room to grow and play. They like all the levels to climb on and there is plenty of room for their toys and beds.

Heavy & Quality Cage!

I'm a little late in writing my review since it's been 2 month since I purchased my hamster cage here. However, I'm still just as happy with my cage choice today as I was the day I bought it. I put mine together by myself. A rubber mallet really came in handy for tapping all the pieces down. But I personally, did not have any issues with any bent metal or bars. Everything fit together like it was supposed to. I love decorating the cage for my rats. I also love the big doors which makes it so easy to clean, but also to interact with your animals and be a part of their world. If I ever need another big cage or if this one ever wears out, I'll definitely buy another one.
