These cooopswere advertised as holding 5 hens. I think 3 would be crowded. They have no roosting rod and they are covered with a soft cardboard like material that any racoon or other varmint could easily destroy. I feel I wasted my money buying this coop. Don't waste yours!

When I ordered this coop, it was one I was excited about for my 5 chickens! However, when I put it all together it is a lot smaller than expected than what the picture showed. It appeared a lot bigger.

Good Little Hutch

I bought this in March before COVID season and raised four Tractor Supply Chickens and two Tractor Supply Ducks for a few months and they got cozy all snuggled together. A large snake got one duck in July. It was the last thing that snake did, and the neighbors retired bird dog really enjoyed three of the chickens over the course of a few weeks in August. I still have one hen (Hay Hay) that lays an egg a day and the duck (Espresso) ran off with four green head Mallards, but they still make a lakefront visit twice daily to eat, just like teenagers. It's a good hutch, needs a heat lamp option, and in reality two small chickens is about all that really fit. The run provides a decent hideout from the Great Horned Owl that has been after the Hay hay for months. Not sure how long the Hay Hay will avoid the owl, but I have not had any issues with the hutch, as it has been weathered in Marble Falls, TX on Lake LBJ.

The building met all my expectations. I liked the color, the materials, the sturdiness, and all the door openings. I like the lift up doors on top. Makes it really accessible to feed chickens or will be to gather eggs.

Pretty hutch!

I'm happy with my purchase. It looks just like the photos and my bunny LOVES it. She was so eager to get inside. I haven't put the wheels on yet, but I will. The wood could be a little sturdier, but I have just one little Holland Lop, so I'm sure it'll last a while for her (if I had several bunnies or a larger breed, I might worry about the sturdiness of the wood and the ability of a large or bored bunny to just chew it up). Looks great on my patio!

The cage looks just like expected and it is sturdy. The top roof opening is very nice. Big enough for my 5 pound rabbit.

Decent For The Money

For the money this isn't bad but after a heavy rain shower there were signs of water in the house...appears to have entered between the plastic roof panel and the wooden frame. The full wooden alternative may be better but this model has better access to the run with a full size access door. Easy to put together although the receiving panels didn't have any predrilled holes so it was down to your eye to make sure everything was lined up and square. All in all this is decent for the money I paid.
