The product is kind of flimsy. Feels like it’s gonna break quickly. Time will tell we’ll see how it goes.

Worst than the grip 4

Was disappointed the magnets and the outer ring are not as good as the grip 4 that I purchased two years ago. Doesn't work well with the oh snap car mount I had purchased with my previous model. Slides off and makes poor contact to it's own product.I use dbrand magsafe case for my Samsung s 24 ultra and ended up needing to use the replacement adhesives I bought for my previous model to keep it attached.Very disappointed this is a downgrade in all ways that matter.Still works well as a figure grip and kickstand but not as a magnet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You'll love this product if you are a PopSocket user moving to Pixelsnap/Mag-Safe popsocket and give it the full 5 stars! My use case is different. I was moving from the Google Pixelsnap ring (which I lost) to the Ohsnap Grip 4. With the Ohsnap, I can't position my phone in portrait mode on the table to hold a video call. When using it as a landscape stand, the Ohsnap delivers a fixed angle, like it or not. While the Ohsnap has a strong magnet to attach to the phone, AND a strong magnet to attract the magsafe charging puck - if you have a standard Qi charging mat, charging is not reliable and stops after a while. The good: magnet is powerful, it is amazingly thin, excellent workmanship, very light weight.

I like how thin the snap grip is. It’s easy to install. It is VERY difficult for me to take off at night to charge my phone. I struggle with it every night. My other complaint is when trying to use the snap grip kickstand to prop up my phone, it is not stable. My phone rocks and usually falls over.

I am enjoying the Snap Grip 5, it works on my wireless changer, no more taking it off to charge my phone and forgetting to put it back on when it is finished charging. It works on my vehicle with my MagSafe mount. It takes a little getting used to but so far it hasn’t been off of my phone even with a MagSafe clear case! Wahoo!!! Keep up the awesome work!!

This thing is impressive. It’s as thin as they advertise. The magnetic grip is great. It’s durable and easy to use. I absolutely love this thing. Saw it advertised on instagram where most products are total crap. This thing is totally awesome.

I’m giving this Snap Grip 5 a solid 4 stars. I’ve not tried the previous version of this product. I’ve only ever used a cheap sticky pop sockets when they first came out years ago. I do like the sleek and slim nature of this product and the magnets are strong enough to hold the grip securely attached to my iPhone 17 Pro using an Apple TechWoven case. However, I am slightly disappointed in the grip’s comfort and ease of use that are most likely due to the slim design. The space to put your fingers underneath the grip isn’t particularly large and it takes some getting used to. I have regular-sized hands (Medium to Large gloves) with perhaps slightly thinner and longer fingers than usual and still, I sometimes struggle sliding my fingers underneath the grip. Especially if it’s been in the closed position for a while. I end up needing to use both hands. With one hand I pull the grip as high up as it goes, hold it there, and then slide the fingers of my other hand under. I feel like the grip could benefit from being able to pull slightly further out and most importantly, it would be helpful if releasing it from the socket would push it further out right from the get go. More spring tension when releasing it would help a lot. That would allow me to release the grip from the socket and slide my fingers underneath all one-handed. I supposed the slim design with thin, but so far surprisingly strong legs, prevents that. I can’t imagine how people with bulky fingers could ever use this grip comfortably. I absolutely love the fact that the phone can be wirelessly charged through the grip and also that I don’t have to remove the grip to attach the phone to magnetic stands/holders, even though it doesn’t hold quite as strong as if there were no grip. It also takes a big of getting used to in finding the right position for the phone to properly attach (snap into place) to a magnetic stand/holder as there is some magnetic push/pull happening depending on how centred the phone+grip is to the stand/holder.Overall, it’s a good grip with strong magnets that perhaps suffers from some limitations due to its slim and sleek design. I wouldn’t mind a slightly bulkier design if it meant the grip would spring slightly further out and perhaps, most importantly, on its own when released, enabling this to become a true one-handed grip.
