Plug and go setup is a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn’t work with all types of phone cases., the only case I could get it to work for is thin and flat cases. It is rather quick to transfer files back and forth using the SSD. I didn’t have any issues with the amount of files or size of the files that I could store on it so it must have a pretty large storage capacity.

Compact and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love technology in my house and especially love anything that helps us store (and transfer if necessary) the many documents and photos we accumulate quickly. The Lexar SL500 Portable SSD 1 TB with Magnetic Set made that super easy for us. It is very compact, includes a Magsafe sleeve you can attach to the back of your iPhone for carrying it around on the go if that becomes necessary, and even includes a Magsafe ring to attach to your phone if you don't have a phone with Magsafe. I was impressed with how quickly it transferred several hundred gigs of data in the form of many small files from one computer to another computer. The write speeds were impressive. Considering how small it is, it holds a large volume of data which I really appreciate. I have primarily used it to store photos as well as some important documents. While the Magsafe features are cool, I don't really see myself using this on my phone frequently enough to need that feature. Having said that, I think someone who uses their phone to take a lot of high quality pictures of 4k videos would find this super helpful to have. If you are looking for a compact storage solution that is quick, easy, and good on the go, this device definitely fits the bill.

Sleek small and effective
