A stovetop smoker that just works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works very well if used according to instructions. I had thought this was going to be a gimmick but no it definitely works and something I will use often. The key is to use fine wood chips and not over smoke. On my first attempt I smoked bison burgers with hickory for 20 minutes; too long as it turns out. Second attempt with lamb loin chops for 10 minutes was perfect, however. Both finished cooking on the grill.
Appreciate that the lid is very tight so virtually no smoke escapes until it is removed; pan bottom is robust and no signs of warping. Cleanup very easy. The whole process was surprisingly easy and quick. Typical Demeyere quality that I have come to expect.
It would have been helpful to include recipes or charts for how long to smoke various foods and what kind of wood to use.

So Convenient to Use

I don't want to invest in a large outdoor smoker but I LOVE smoked meats, veggies, cheese...so I thought I would give this stovetop smoker a try.
Not at ALL disappointed. It's just two of us usually so this is the perfect size to get my food smoked. Much much simpler to use than the big outdoor smoker. And great price for the results you get.

great smokes folks

I dont have access to an outdoor grilling/smoking area. This indoor stove top smoker is great. The lid fits nice and tight so it keeps the smoke inside. Its very easy to use and clean. I really like to use it on vegetables. Tomatoes and peppers are brought to a new level with a touch of smoke.

Great stovetop smoker

Smoking adds such unique flavor to your food. My favorite to smoke is shrimp and a small pork tenderloin. Veggies are great too! It is amazing how much flavor you can get into your food. I'm excited to try some new wood chips for different flavors. I love the look and durability of stainless steel; I know it will last a lifetime.

Get smokey!

I love the flavor I get from smoke off the grill in the summer and I am so happy that I found this indoor, stove top version so that I can get that smokey flavor all year round! It is super easy to use and you'll want to get smoke into everything after you use this.

You Don't Need a Big Outdoor Smoker

This little guy will smoke anything from fish to any kind of meat. Works perfectly on any cooking surface. And take out the inner grill and you have an extra pan for any purpose.
This pan will go up to 600F in the oven, amazing.

This smoker works so well. It really infuses those smokey tastes into anything you put in it. Easy to clean, easy to use. I certainly recommend this if you enjoy smoked dishes!
