One of the best blade shapes ever invented

It was a revelation when I found this blade shape. It is a must have for anyone who works with cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, strawberries or artichokes. (Those are just the things I used my bird's beak paring knife on this week.
The Pro line, with its angled bolster, has actually made the bird's beak better. It sits at an optimal angle for easy coring of fruit and vegetables, peeling of the tough outer leaves of an artichoke. This is a definitely a knife where the quality of the steel and the ability of the knife to hold an edge is important. It's the small, tough tasks where I want my knife to perform. And this one truly does!

Peeler, paring & mini boning knife!

I have never thought how versatile this knife can be other than for peeling and paring knife, up until I learned more about it and my customer was impressed how much this bird's beak peeler knife can do. My customer came back, bought few other products and his feedback is exceptional small little knife. He said that unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue, just what this Zwilling Pro is for, it delivers exceptional performance to every cook.

An interesting designed knife for peeling skins from apples, pears, etc. Comfortable to use and the shape does make sense for soft skinned fruit.

Love this knife

This is one of my favorite knives! I take it on vacation because it's perfect for deveining shrimp! I use it almost daily at home for hulling strawberries and digging bad spots out of apples. It is super sharp, very comfortable and extremely durable! As a general rule, I do not put my knives in the dishwasher, but it does occassionally happen. It has not affected the performance at all! You cannot go wrong with any of the Pro knives. They are built to last a lifetime!
