Overall it's a decent, affordable choice for a home user. Mine has 16 GB RAM, making it much more responsive than my previous HP Elitebook that had only 8 GB. Two things that could be improved are the the sound output level is and the touchpad. Even at maximum setting, the sound level is inadequate. Compared to my previous Elitebook, the touchpad on the Pavilion Plus Laptop 14t-ew100 is rather clunky and unresponsive, especially with the click function, so I have to use a wireless mouse instead.

I bought this for my wife because her last laptop had a screen that was horrible. I can attest that the OLED screen on this unit is indeed bright and beautiful. It runs very fast for normal everyday use, the webcam and microphone are made for Zoom meetings, and has enough storage for the normal user. Great price too.

Great Machine, Could Do Without the Marketing Software

Setup of my new Pavilion laptop was straightforward and painless. I am very happy with the performance of the machine so far, and am particularly glad I opted for the OLED display - it is bright and crisp. The only downside experienced in the initial use of my machine is the pre-loaded HP and McAfee software. There are far too many popups interrupting my work, and trying to sell me additional products. HP should make these programs only activated when the owner requests them. I purchased my machine to do work, not to be a marketing opportunity for HP and McAfee.
