I have used this fire pit three times since purchase. The 30-inch diameter can accommodate a large fire! I'm glad we did not purchase a larger size. This is a good size for 5-6 people to sit socially distanced, and probably up to 10 under other circumstances. It can be easily assembled by anyone without help in about 15 minutes.
The vinyl cover is a surprisingly heavy material. All in all, I was pleased that this came with everything -- the vinyl cover, the mesh dome cover, etc. (rather than having to purchase each separately). We bought the fish motif, and it's a fun, subtle design that is readily apparent as you watch the fire.
One note: If you set this on your lawn or grass, although it off the ground, the bottom gets hot enough that it will burn the grass. This is not a criticism, just something to be aware of.
