I sent in two packages of knives that needed repair and both times the warranty covered the knives but I was sent back a different knife and not the same model I sent in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is by far the most favorite knife my daughters use on a near daily basis. At their ages and in training them how to properly use a knife, the 5.5” blade is perfect! It’s always nerve racking training your children to cook, especially when it comes to using a knife; but give this one a try, you’ll love it! Just like my daughters do.

This little santoku knife will easily tackle chopping and mincing prep tasks. The ergonomic handle and exclusive curved bolster ensures a comfortable and controlled grip. The strong, forged blade will stay sharp for a long time while the hollow edge divets will guide food up and off the knife as you cut.

A great santoku knife

A great Japanese style blade from Zwilling Pro, you get the blade that's best for chopping, while having a sturdy and durable blade with the special formula stainless steel. The curved bolster provides the ultimate comfort and grip of the knife from blade to handle. The 5.5” santoku knife is a nice in between size, smaller in length, but still a wide blade to chop through produce easily.
