Reliable 4k monitor for Mac and Windows

Great Monitor

Resolution enables viewing large spreadsheets easily.
Did need to realise that had to access graphics settings to get full resolution, not just display settings.
Stand is good enabling positioning of monitor at correct height.

Haptic switch, eye saver, ports galor!

I purchased two of these to replace two acer monitors I had that were getting older. I just received the monitors yesterday and so far I love them!
They are durable but semi-light weight. The screens are massive with very small bezels which gives it a more sleek appearance. The stand comes with rubber grips on the bottom of a very durable feeling metal base that you have to push + swivel to install into the monitor stand.
The colors are so much more vibrant than my previous monitors. They don't have any sort of lag and are really making my graphics card shine! They have plenty of plugs. It has an HDMI port + display port so you can use up to 2 computers on each monitor. I even have 3 standard USBs remaining on the left monitor. If you are like me and you've never had a monitor with built-in USBs, you need to plug what I refer to as a "printer cable" (USB A/B) from the screen into whatever computer (or in my case, computer hub) you will be using with the standard USB portion in the computer. This will give you access to the 3 USBs as well as the microphone plug that is built in to the monitor.
I really like the haptic button on the rear of the monitor. It can swivel up, left, right, or down and each direction provides a different functionality. Up provides one of my favorite features, which is the eye saver. My job requires me to be staring a screen of letters and numbers for 7 hours a day. That combined with the night light setting in windows is amazing for my eyes.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I look forward to using these monitors for years to come!

Great Features, Lackluster Contents

Build quality is excellent with tool free installation, and features are awesome. However my unit only came with USB C cable that is extremely short, and you need to buy separate upstream USB cable to utilize KVM and ethernet ports. I had leftovers from other monitor, but be warned that it could be an issue for you.

My best new tech of the year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Samsung VeiwFinity S8 monitor is beautiful! I've had it for a few weeks new and I could never go back to my old one. The vivid colors are amazing. Playing my favorite games just got so much better. Being able to see so much more detail has enhanced my viewing capabilities 10 fold! Definitely a must buy monitor.

Perfect size for gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opted to downgrade the size of my gaming monitor to this beautifully crisp monitor from Samsung. Samsung has done it again with this ViewFinity S8 4K UHD Monitor, The colors are vibrant and crisp. The refresh rate is really awesome when gaming. I loved the ease of assembly and the way you can modify your gaming by turning the monitor vertically. The base really is easy to maneuver and adjust for height, tilt, etc.
Pros:
Easy to assemble, crisp clean images and high refresh rate. Resolution is also phenominal.

The monitor has no sound accompanied with it. I had to purchase external speakers.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a content creator, who isn't these days. I stream on twitch and wanted a second monitor to keep an eye on my OBS software while gaming. This monitor works great. It's great size to have OBS open with chat and audio monitoring also at a good size on the screen.
Features I love:
Being able to turn the monitors orientation without taking it off the stand.
Ease of assembly, no screws involved everything snaps together securely and quickly.
The stand itself: its got a small form factor that takes up very little desk surface area.
Height adjustment: smooth gliding without feeling like I'm going to break the monitor.
I did have to play with the video settings a little to get it dialed in to my preference but it was easy to navigate the settings on the monitor.
The only complaint I have is that there are no integrated speakers but not a big deal overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!
