Spend more money for a better designed fan!

• 75 watt LED is too dim for a full living room with a high ceiling. When LEDs fail – fan is done. No new bulbs can be put in.
• Screws are very visible. Not well designed.
• Ceiling dome down rod cover piece appears to have been manufactured for multiple products. Black open hoes are very visible and it does NOT fit snugly so a dark open space appears into the electrical box/holder. Bad look.
• Fan appears to turn smoothly.

NOT EASY TO INSTALL

Installed this light for my daughter. Directions are not helpful. Illustrations do not show critical details and text does not explain it either. Screws need to be installed in extremely tight spaces... you definitely need a magnetic screw driver. Some assembly requires two people

Clicking noise every revolution

Flush mount install not the smoothest, mounting bracket would not slide over set screws. Since the set screws are used for the down rod only, I just removed one. The bottom of the mounting bracket then hit one of the screws that is below the set screws.
Started out with some motor noise but after removing my old wall switch / fan speed controller the motor noise went away. The remaining problem that will cause me to return this unit is that is makes a clicking noise every revolution of the blades.

Very quiet

Bought this for a secondary bedroom. Installation was easier than expected, but blade attachment is tedious and you must be careful with screws. This was my first experience installing a ceiling fan of any type. I did it by myself with tall ladder. Would buy and install again.

I got a Westinghouse 78017 Comet. It lasted 3 years without any damage. I was so impressed with the fan. :)

Besides being able to circulate the air well and looking nice, my main requirement for a ceiling fan is being quiet and this one is soundless!

Just bought this fan and installed it. Quiet fan with bright LED light. Consumer reports have great rating and it looks great in screened porch with whisper quiet motor.
