If you need a charge now, plug it in. It will take 1/2 the time. Roughly - you can figure the charge time in minutes using the station will be about 2X the difference of (100-(current level). That will only be achieved if the cell is correctly aligned on the stand. Millimeters matter. Also, watch the lights on the stand and cell to be sure that random vibrations haven't shifted the pairing between the cell and stand.
The stand is best used for touch up hits during diddle time. But if you need a full tank fast stop at the truck stop rather than the one pump station.

I just bought the charger for my new iPhone XR - at first I wasn't sure about the charger because the light indicator only turns red - not sure why it was made to not indicate say a green or other color when charged. But the device itself is easy -

Fast charge wireless charging stand takes longer to charge phone vs using wall charger. In addition, the charging light does not indicate the phone is charged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Good - Had to remove PopSocket

I bought this device to try out wireless charging. My iPhone 7 doesn't have the capability, but my Samsung Galaxy S8 does. The only problem I have with the charging is that I had to remove my PopSocket. It makes if very inconvenient, as I prefer using my phone with it. Without the PopSocket, the Galaxy begins charging within seconds of placing the phone on the stand. It did take about 3 hours to charge to 100% from a 15% charge.

Love this item. Nice an small, nice fast charging without using the USB cable. Very happy with it, makes things much easy and can still see my massages while it's charging.

This is a must have for your new Galaxy. Rapid charge feature is great. Occupies little space and cradles the phone upright.
