I switched from Apple back to Samsung and when we bought our phones straight from Samsung.com, this charger was included. I love it because futzing around with the old cord and port to charge my husband's old phone was painful. I had to get a nail under that little door at the bottom and hole and hope that this time, I wouldn't break it off. Very nice charger!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This charger is just so convenient as a permanent charging station and honestly has been the best and fastest wireless charger that I have ever used. I love that it's not sensitive to how you place the phone on the dock, though that may in part be the phone. It's true, however that it is not quite as fast as plugging it in but that basically where we are at with this technology. As an example, using a fast charger that plugs into the phone estimated the phone at 69% battery life would be charged in 45 minutes and using the wireless charging pad estimated it would take an hour. However this is still much faster than non-fastcharge adapters that I have used.
I use this as my bedside charger and use the one that came with the phone as a travel charger.
One of the upgrades from the previous generation is that the LED isn't too bright. Overall, it's just better than the previous generation.

Pros: Durable, fast, convenient, stable
Cons: not quite as fast as the plug-in fast charger

WORKS WITH OTTERBOX DEFENDER CASE (GALAXY S9 PLUS)

I had a S7 Edge secured in a Otterbox Defender protective case. For the last two years I always charged the S7 Edge in the Defender utilizing a Samsung fast charge wireless charging stand model #EP-NG930. I bought the S9 plus and secured it with the Otterbox Defender to protect it. I then discovered that my old Samsung fast charge wireless charging stand (EP-NG930) would not charge the S9 Plus in the Defender case. However, I was able to charge the S9 Plus with no case using the Samsung fast charge wireless charging stand (EP-NG930). I bought the Samsung fast charge wireless charging convertible model #EP-PG950TBEGUS. I then discovered the new Samsung fast charge wireless charging convertible (EP-PG950TBEGUS) would charge the S9 Plus in the Defender case in pad mode but not in the stand mode. I Returned the Samsung fast charge wireless charging convertible (EP-PG950TBEGUS) and bought the Samsung fast charge wireless charging stand 2018 model #EP-N5100TBEGUS. The Samsung fast charge wireless charging stand 2018 model (EP-N5100TBEGUS) does charge the S9 Plus while in the Otterbox Defender as it should in its only mode (stand).
Pros: will charge the s9 plus in the otterbox defender
Cons: upright stand only., not convertible.

I love this charger. It works so great that it will even speed charge my phone while it's still in it's Otter Box protective case.
Pros: works with phone in case

Convenient for your office at work or home. Design is perfect for a Samsung Galaxy s9+, it doesn't overheat and there is a light that will let you know when you phone is fully charged. Its size is even perfect for your bed side table. I use it with my phone case on and it works perfect. This charger is a good choice for people that look for convenience!!!
