Powered by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, the cameras on the S24 series feature faster shutter speeds, dual recording, and other cutting-edge capabilities. We noted your concerns about the postprocessing of the camera app. We'd like to work with you to resolve this. From the Camera app, select the settings cog wheel top left, then find Advanced intelligence options and set this to minimum. You might also want to try shooting in Pro mode or using Expert RAW. Don't waste your money, try something new.

I have had this phone for a little bit. How do they keep making it worse. I loved the note 9 and it seems with every upgrade it get less user friendly and aesthetically more offensive. Functionality no longer simple but complex. I basically changed all the features and button layouts. I feel like they all got in a big circle and are like how can we make this even worse. What they think is disruptional technology is just poorly designed features no one want. I really wish I could undo all of the updates I've gotten for this phone because it makes it worse each time. Do not buy try out in different new phone. Because the way they messed up their layout so much it's basically like using a different company.

Do not buy! Horrible washed out, dull colors

Please fix the washed out, dull colors on this phone. And please don't tell me what colors I should like when using this phone. If I decide to use your horrible color adjustment, that should be my choice, not yours. Your response to countless complaints from your customers will most likely create a PR nightmare for you. There's still time to fix this.

Better than a solid 4 but not quite a 5.

I have not used a Samsung phone since the Galaxy Note 4, and I am pleasantly surprised with the changes that Samsung has made over the years. The blue titanium build is gorgeous!
The screen is amazing and I am glad they went back to a flat display. I think a flat display is more useful for S Pen users.
Speaking of the S Pen, it is so accurate and feels almost like writing on paper. If I had to be picky, I would prefer the pen to be more premium and longer since this is an "Ultra" phone.
Battery life has improved since the March update. I can truly get through a day without worry. Prior to that update, I noticed some significant drain but the update fixed that.
The camera's are amazing. I love the 5x 50MP zoom lens. I can watch a sporting event and zoom into the action with out losing too much detail. I am not photography expert but for my needs, it's great and has plenty of options.
I use this phone on the Verizon network and I am very pleased with the network speeds and call quality. I have no issues at all in my house with signal. Previous phones I had sometimes dropped calls in my home, but not this Phone!
The feature set of this phone can be overwhelming to a new smartphone user and I definitely recommend scrolling through the settings to learn more about the phone and customize it to your preference. Also the jump between the Galaxy Store and Google Store is something that can be a bit confusing too. I use the Galaxy Store more for customization apps and features for this phone which can be fun. There is plenty of features to explore. I had this phone for almost a month and I am still learning this phone.
The AI features to me are still a little basic compared to the Pixel 8 in my opinion, but the potential is great since this phone is more powerful than the Pixel 8 in every way. Bixby is actually improved and pretty useful, I won't say it's better than Google Assistant but it is useful.
This is an expensive phone and I understand people may want to pass on this phone, however, I think this phone is worth the price. The promise of 7 years of updates and the AI potential gave me the confidence to recommend this phone. This is a great purchase for long term usage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down best phone I have ever had edits my videos effortlessly, battery life is amazing especially when playing games or listening to music. My absolute favorite feature is device care such it's so easy to navigate and it is very thorough. The camera is A+ as well took some photos of the full moon last night while riding shotgun on a bumpy road and the pictures turned out awesome.

Not much difference from the previous model. AI is not impressive and not worth a update. Samsung, where is the innovation? More of the same, faster cpu and better camera. Improve the fingerprint reader.
