Almost perfect, texting sucks

This is an awesome phone in ALMOST every aspect. Great camera for pics in multiple settings and video. Calls and video are crystal clear. It is a comfortable size and works pretty much perfectly with my Samsung watch. The speed of the phone is awesome as is the battery charge time and the battery lasting time.
The only major flaw with this phone is the texting. Especially the voice to text. Finger texting is spotty. It will auto correct words and punctuation that make no sense. It will highlight it's own corrections as to tell you the word or phrase is incorrect even though the phone put it that way.
Voice text actually just sucks. The phone does not recognize easy words like my name for instance. It will end sentences with periods that are not supposed to end at that point. It will capitalize words where they are not to be capitalized. Voice text will put double spaces between words. It will highlight words and phrases that are not correct even though the phone wrote them that way. At the end of a sentence if I say "comma" or "period," it will spell out comma and period or any other punctuation instead of using the actual punctuation mark. There is more to add but this phones texting needs a major overhaul.
I still learning how use Galaxy S24. This phone is the best of future!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great upgrade from the S21 Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never owned the Galaxy Note phones. The S21 Ultra was my first Galaxy phone since the Galaxy S3. I was not happy with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It felt like a step back from my old LG G8 ThinQ. Plus the S-Pen that only worked on the S21 Ultra had very few options to add it to a case. This was my first big win with the S24 Ultra having the pen built in to the phone. I have the 1TB model which is way more than the S21 Ultra's 128GB. The S24 Ultra is smooth and snappy. I love the flat screen dnd sharp corners. It's heavy so I never have to wonder if it's in my pocket. As much as I love the phone, there are down sides. I got the green color wave, and while not as nice a the rich deep green of the S23 Ultra, it is pretty nice. However; that green is only on the back of the case. All the colors share either the black or silver accent. I would at least have loved a matching green S-Pen. At the end of the day, I love the phone, and a long as you aren't moving up from the S23 Ultra, you'll love it too.

Samsung did a terrible job with the s24 ultra

I traded in my s23 ultra for the s24 for Ultra it was a big big mistake you can research all you want you can watch all the videos on YouTube that you can find and I don't believe that not one person actually tells the truth the s23 is a better phone all the way it is brighter it is easier to hold and handle the s24 has that anti-glare screen but once you put a screen protector on it that's out the window yes they gave it an update and they fixed the few things with it but it's really not worth the money at all and not worth the trade in at least for the 23 Ultra

Hey there, Thank you for finding the free time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra display also has better visibility than Galaxy S23 Ultra due to a higher peak brightness of 2600 nits and newly applied Corning Gorilla Armor. An upgraded processor drives Galaxy S24 Ultra with NPU performance improved by 41%, GPU by 30% and CPU by 20% compared to Galaxy S23 Ultra. Its Vapor Chamber is 92% larger than its predecessor for improved heat dissipation. It also has the brightest adaptive display on a Galaxy yet! Without having enough information available regarding what you may be currently experiencing with your device and without being able to ask you any follow up questions to probe further, I recommend reaching out to Samsung Support if you would like assistance with troubleshooting your device or if you would like additional assistance in any way. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung 24 Ultra! I have used the Samsung Note + Series since 2012 and have always loved having the use of the stylus, filters, slo-mo photos. The Ultra series speed and memory make it perfect since I generally hold on to a phone for a bit. Photos on my recent vacay to Canada turned out better with the AI enhancements for color and subject erase. Loved Panorama mode too! Dedicated fan for life!
Still was not able to resolve my problems with the S24 ultra

Hi Skwarden. We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to give us your feedback on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S24 Ultra comes equipped with a stunning 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing an incredibly smooth and responsive user experience. The high refresh rate ensures that scrolling through apps, browsing the web, and gaming feels incredibly fluid. Additionally, the display's vibrant colors and deep blacks make watching videos and viewing photos a truly immersive experience. The Galaxy S24 Ultra's display is also equipped with advanced eye comfort features to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. If a 'Camera failed' warning appears on your screen, or if your device freezes or slows down while using the Camera app, please refer to the following guide provided in the link attached to troubleshoot the issue. If this continues to be your experience, reach out to us at Samsung Support for additional support. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-troubleshoot-camera-app-errors/?srsltid=AfmBOoogUUqh7tYCGVBzBcAV28QKFCbYaHNzuCkNQUvHJp1w9v2vqkri smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
