Gorgeous hammock stand that is Easy to assemble!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this hammock stand! It only took an hour to set up with one person - two would probably make it easier - and it was easy to clip in our hammock. The wood has some give to it, so it does move when you rock in the hammock, but not so you’d be insecure. We bought a double hammock to use with it, and can’t wait to swing in in all summer when the weather is nice. It’s important to note that rope hammocks aren’t recommended with this stand, so be sure you buy a fabric hammock to go with it.

It is made of real wood and it is great piece to add to patio

Awesome way to relax!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wooden hammock stand didn’t come with a hammock but adding one provides a perfect spot to relax and is a beautiful addition to anyone’s backyard. It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. It took approx 30 mins from box opening to completion. You do need 2 people for assembly. I love it and you will too!

If you are looking for an extremely strong but stylish hammock stand, then this is the one for You! I greatly enjoy looking at it as well as using it with a hammock to relax in, after a long day of work.

Sturdy and beautiful wood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the washers, bolts, and lock nuts were bagged nicely in a zippered pouch. Instructions were clear, and all tools were included. The "wrenches" provided continued to slip apart, so we used a ratchet we had at home. Boards are nicely finished, and all holes are lined up properly. Definitely a 2-person assembly, which the instructions noted.
Start to finish assembly took less than 20 minutes. Good to note this hammock stand is not recommended for rope style hammocks.
Both my daughter and Terrier approve! They had a wonderful nap! It's too cool outside right now, so we'll be hanging out indoors!

Very Nice Stand!!

Reason for subtracting a star is an 11' hammock does not really fit this stand as advertised.....I had to purchase additional hardware (an S-hook), in order for my 11' hammock to fit. With provided hardware you hit bottom....still only have about 2 inches of space but it works....(for now)

The stand arrived on time

The stand arrived on time and now that it is built it looks good. The only problem is that the instructions are only drawings of the parts and are so small. They should include verbiage on how to assemble. I had no idea what one part even was. Turned out to be something that holds the screw in place while turning the other side tight. They say it’s easy for two people to assemble. It is essential to have two people! And one of them needs to be very familiar with assembling similar items!

mediocre at best

I'm undecided on the quality of this product. There is a decent size break/cut/split in one of the pieces of wood that I am not sure will last in the long run. Additionally, I am skeptical that this hammock stand will hold 400 lbs since it already seems a little flimsy when my wife and I (total weight 320 lbs - she's pregnant) are already making it wobble just by being in it. It seems very flimsy. I just haven't had time to contact the company about the crack in the wood. It's a shame because I was very excited to use it but I am doubtful that this thing is going to last more than a couple years. You are welcome to contact me if you wish.
