This small light will be a lifesaver when going fishing. Can have it clipped on to my waders or bibs first thing in the morning, then at sunrise I can retire it to my bag or pocket int the next day.

Versatile handy light

This purchase was to replace a light I've had for years. Small and light, it can clip to the bill of a ball cap, hard hat, or your shirt collar. It's two color light output is handy at night to preserve night vision, and the white setting is great for close in work. The magnet is handy to make it hands free and the swivel head lets you put the light where you need it.

Durablity not as expected

Coast is my brand of choice for flashlights, part of the reason is their durability.
The HX4 is a fantastic light, it's perfect for going to the bathroom at night since the 80 lumen bulb and red mode don't blind you or wake anyone up, but it fell off my desk on to a hard floor and the tilt wheel broke off, and exposed the wiring inside. The rail on the back of cap broke so I can't put it back on, so I put some duct tape over the hole. Still works, but not what I've come to expect from Coast.

Cool light! I had about one week of use, and for the price it was a great product. Unfortunately the white light stopped working after a week. The red still works but its not practical for me to carry it only to use the red light.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
