Great little light

I have a couple of the HX4 V2, they are a big improvement over the HX4. My wife carries one in her purse and I use it around the house. I like the 2 switches, one for the white and one for the red lights, no clicking through to get to the red light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Misleading

Great light. But the picture that says dual buttons white/ red is misleading. Made me think one button was for white and the other for red. But they both just cycle white first then red then off. The whole point of having a red light is to not have a white light ruin your night vision. So kinda defeats the purpose if I have to go through white to get to red.
Also kinda pointless and a waist of money if you have 2 buttons side by side that do the exact same thing. Why not just use one button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are great in so many ways, but...

I love these guys and I will probably buy more, but I have to tell you one thing that is keeping me from rating them 5-stars: the switch protrudes JUST enough so that, WHENEVER I carry them in a jacket or pants pocket, they actuate and run the batteries down. I'm trying to figure out and fabricate a robust "rim" or "border" to effectively recess the switch surface. If I go all the way and develop a 3D print model I will let folks know about it. Other than that single gripe, these units are value for money.
