This is the near perfect flashlight. Eclipse in your pocket on your jacket or on the bill of your baseball cap and with the multi directional swivel light, you can keep the light out of your eyes and on your project. Great for late night patrolling.

I made a few different modified torches for late night community patrolling, but have put them all away now that I have this.
It clips on my hi-vis vest perfectly, giving me an easy access torch (when I don't want to use my hi-power torch). But more importantly, the red light is absolutely perfect when I need to take notes BUT don't want to ruin my night vision.
It's lightweight and by using standard AAA batteries, I always know I've got something available.
I've also now started using it on my cap for early morning walks. It's much easier than headlamps and with the rotating lens, you can direct it downwards easily (versus headlamps which generally blind people as you walk towards them!).

Good quality. I got a metal interior roof, and drove highway and wooded trails, it held up 90 degrees straight, magnet held, it never fell off. I got the smaller version first, then this larger version. Good emergency tool.
