Wont save your night vision

Bought this to try the dual beam colours. Red area lighting was the most interesting part, but, two issues, one, mine was broken coming out of the package, so, durable: no. And, two, you cant get to red without cycling through white, so, if you forget to cover it up when trying to turn it on, night vision, goodbye (and, literally no point in having the red available).
Even if they had red as primary and white as the secondary, forcing you to cycle through both red and white to turn on, or off, is a fail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one of the best little all around handy lights. Use it daily. This is the second one i have purchased, tragically i left my 1st one in some rafters above a ceiling stuck to one of my pipes... when i went to find it hours later it had died. Wish it had a rechargeable battery.

Small and Light but very bright. It can clip onto a t-shirt neck or a hat brim or bill. It carries easily in a shirt or pants pocket. It only uses 1 battery so a days worth of power is very easy to carry with you. The light beam angle is also adjustable up and down to suit your needs.

Ordered two. One was broken upon arrival. Rotating portion seems flimsy and the grip on one side was snapped off with the "O" ring. Not sure how these will hold up in the long run.

I bought two and gave one to a friend. He used it to repair his idler pulley inside the clothes dryer cavity where space was cramped.

Functional but poorly built

I have been needing a light like this for a while that can clip to a shirt pocket or a backpack strap and move in this fashion but upon the first time using it, the dial on the side that is used to move the light, snapped right off. The light is still functional but I was quite disappointed with this, especially with a Coast product. I would love Coast to reach out to me about this.
