I had, some months ago, replaced my beat-up, failing, AAA maglite with a Coast G20. I was completely satisfied with it, until it started failing on me. I found out about the lifetime warranty, and with almost no red tape whatsoever, I got an email informing me that a replacement was on the way. No difficult questions, no request to ship the failed unit back, just a speedy, cheerful replacement.
