Awesome Light, Everyone Who Has Seen It Wants One

This light is the best on the market, especially for emergency use when the power goes out. We have 6 of them place strategically around the house so we are always prepared. Got these for my parents in a senior living apartments building. When they lost power, they were the ONLY ones to have a way to see within their own apartment. All the other residents are now asking where they too can get this lantern. It is truly indestructible, extremely well built,very bright with long battery run times. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well built, bright and reliable lantern.

Lantern for Hurricane

Snagged one during prep for Hurricane Matthew. Still new but so far tremendous----super bright, apparently long-lasting and nicely adjustable. Perfect for household wiht power off.

Excellent Multipurpose Light

I bought two of these a few months ago for storm related power outages, one for my bedroom and the other for the living/dining space. Let a plumber use one when he was installing new faucets in my bathroom and he raved about it so much, I gave it to him. Now ordering a replacement.

Some are saying the lantern doesn't turn on. You need to remove the batter cover, then remove the plastic covering the battery contacts that are there to extend the battery life before shipping. Remove the plastic covering the battery, then pay attention to how the batter cover fits. It goes on not like a jar cover, but it has to be lined up properly with the contacts. Look at it carefully and you will see what I mean. This is a great lantern. I highly recommend it, but I also recommend the company provide instructions so people are not confused about the light not coming on and instructed to remove the plastic covering the batteries.

Hands Down The Best Light

By far the best light for the money you can buy. It is better then other lights I bought for double the price. Excellent design and strong as all heck. I Install refrigeration gaskets in restaurants and bars where there is next to no light and it works perfect.

They have to work to be good

I bought two lanterns and can't get either one to come on even after changing to new batteries. There is no paperwork with either lantern, and I can't find anything on the website to explain any special instructions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
