Versatile for Various Uses

Many months ago, I bought this small-sized flashlight to use as a tactical flashlight to use with my concealed carry pistol for target identification under darkened conditions as well as for general use. For its size, it generated 100 lumens of light, even more so than my Surefire C2 Centurion and Surefire 6P Defender tactical flashlights. I even bought a spare one to keep in my vehicle in case it gets lost, damaged, or forgot to bring it with me while out in the street with my sidearm.

Nice replacement for the discontinued HP2

I had an old HP2 flashlight which is now discontinued. I called Coast and they were able to recommend the G22 which is comparable. Same approx. size and uses 1 AAA battery. Being a newer model, it is considerably brighter. It has two brightnesses, but doesn't zoom. I had to use a pliers to unscrew the cap the first time, but it works fine after that. For a small economical LED flashlight is works great. I only had to pay postage for the replacement. Great warranty. NOTE: If the lights get any more economical, the postage charge will be as much as the light.

The flashlight is just the right size to fit on the watch pocket of my Levi’s. The clip is strong, and light bright enough for quick needs. The AAA batteries are a simple swatch for alkaline or rechargeables. I love this little sucker! And - the price is right, too!
