It's a good size for night stand use. It stopped working a few years after purchase. I read they have a lifetime warranty. Connected with them, they asked for a Pic and a little info and Badda Bing they replaced it charging only shipping. Coast....you have a lifelong customer. Seriously.

Excellent exterior shell build quality BUT........

After purchasing 3 of these units the first one I loved it, worked for a few months the quality seems there, and nice and bright but for somw reason stopped working, I replaced the batteries even tho they were not dead, cause sometimes the connection can get bad, I feel like it's the switch mechanism. Any how on my 3rd unit and it stopped working as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Should I be disappointed?

I've had my G26 about a year and it's worked great every night. I recently sat down in my carport and it fell out of my pants pocket. It no longer works. Replaced the batteries still nothing. Just thought it should be a little more shock resistant. Might be the bulb but can't find a replacement. Oh well.
