My G25 lasted a year and seven months. It was replaced with the G26. The reason I gave it 5 stars is the fact that they stood by their warranty and quickly replaced it.
Also, the reason it didn't work was that the spring in the battery compartment detached. If the simply engineered a better way to fasten this spring, it would still be working.
I am a toolmaker working in extremely oily conditions, and have dropped it several times in the waste oil tanks, and it still worked.

It’s great! I loved the G25 I took it night fishing all the time and you could see straight underwater from the surface, unfortunately the batteries destroyed my tail cap. The good news is that COAST is an amazing company and helped me get a replacement although the G25 had been discontinued I was given a brand new G26 at no charge and the light is just as incredible! Immensely bright with a dim setting as well, great product!

Great inspection and overall small flashlight. Replaced a G25 bought in 2014 for construction use under Coast's lifetime warranty, and it's much better. Single lg LED is better than 4 mini bulbs; brighter with 2 settings, better balanced too. Waterproof. It's a great small light when you need to see everything. Can't go wrong with this one!
