I recently got the px1 after my px25 stopped working, I learned the px25 is discontinued and am very disappointed to hear. The px1 has adjustable beam and a high low setting, it gets very annoying having to double click the button and no where near the beam distance as it's predecessor. It's bigger than the px25 has too much going on. I prefer my lights to turn on and off when needed. Not a Swiss army style apparatus.
My Coast light of several years abruptly quit working, I cleaned the contact points, changed batteries with no successes. Reported it to Coast and they quickly provided a replacement. I'm glad I decided to test their warranty because I had no paperwork since it was several years old and almost tossed it.
I own two. And I can't live without them. Primarily, they serve as two (out of four) headlights on my touring bike. Bright, durable, compact...everything one would want in a flashlight.
Im a advid hunter and outdoorsman. I use my flashlights a great deal. I have several $150-$250 flashlights. I've got to say this PX1 Is just as good. Maybe its not as powerful as some of the others but has plenty of power and is just as durable. You really dont needvto spend hundreds of dollars. Its a great light!!!
