Good, but could be better

The swing looks great and is comfortable. The striped cushions are well made and dry quickly. However, assembly was difficult because many holes do not line up correctly and several parts never came together correctly. In addition, the frame was cosmetically dented and scratched in several places, but would be too difficult to send back.

Canopy Cover for this swing set.

I purchased this canopy swing last year and was very pleased with the easy install and the unit is well made. After several months the canopy faded and was very unhappy. I notified customer service and since this was within the first year warranty. They honored that and sent me a new cover. I'm hoping this one doesn't fade but am very happy with the customer service. The canopy swing is very comfortable and love the trays on the sides.

Cushion Material

Well, we were excited to replace our old canopy swing set and spent time researching. Purchased this, it arrived, instructions were straight forward, the canopy cover was a little tight but managed to get in on correctly. My disappointed is the fabric. For the price I would have thought that at least the canopy cover would be fade resistant. It has faded within four weeks. The cushions and pillows seems to be ok, but not the canopy cover. I have other outdoor furniture that is exposed to the sun and after several years has not faded. So buyer beware.

My Wife's Patio Swing Birthday Present

The swing was built in China and it did not have any actual instructions, just numbered diagrams and rudimentary tools, were fairly intuitive, but more would have been better. There are different length screws, and it would be best to use the shortest possible screws first, as you work through the diagrams. The side tables are more-or-less flush, but their panels do NOT form-fit with the frame they go into, and it takes some pushing and pulling to get them into place. (The end tables look a little flimsy, but they appear to be serviceable.) It would also be good to know that when you get to the assembly of the canopy, that you need to insert the bottom pieces thru the holes in the fabric AS you build the end assemblies. The diagram seems to indicate that you should just put them together without the canopy fabric, but that won't work. It may vary with individual units, but ours has canopy fabric which was too tight to easily stretch over the metal canopy pieces, end-to-end. It may be that it would have been easier to work with if I had dampened the fabric prior to trying to get the canopy stretched in place. I would suggest that you get the canopy assembled and installed before actually hanging the swing itself, for ease of movement. The swing came in two long, hefty cardboard boxes (no cut-out handles), 80" in assembled length without the side tables folded out. Having said all of this, I need to add that my wife is very pleased with her new birthday present.

Missing Parts and irregular holes with poor instructions

I had 3 screws and 1 Washer missing. The hole on the central bar where the canopy tilting knob sits is not straight and thus one side I couldnâ€:tm:t fit the knob. I even tried to fit the knob without Canopy and it wouldnâ€:tm:t fit. After multiple tries I observed that the threading on the knob screw was damaging and I didnâ€:tm:t try anymore. The instructions were so poor that I had to watch video to understand what goes where and which one to start first. If their Customer service is any good, Iâ€:tm:m hoping to get a reply to this.

I have purchased Sannydaze Swing to replace my old one, and I was worried if I would like it - well, I do very much enjoy it! My husband suggested that there were some missing washes in the kit and advised the company to double check the package before boxing. BUT - I am HAPPY! Thank You!
