It's easy to set up and simple to place the umbrella pole in securely. Great value for the price, and I use it every day on my patio with no issues.

Heavy duty but sleek!

My husband had it put together in just a few minutes and even though it’s heavy, it was easy for him to carry down the stairs to our outdoor patio area. Looking forward to getting a new umbrella to put in it!

Sturdy, reliable, looks good, and does its job wel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crest live umbrella base is solid and does what it’s supposed to do. At around 28 pounds, it’s heavy enough to keep an umbrella stable, even on a slightly windy day. Once set up, it doesn’t wobble or shift.
Assembly was mostly easy, with one annoyance: the adjustable feet on the bottom were inconsistent. One screwed in smoothly, but the others were very difficult to tighten. I had to use extra grip to get them in, and even then, I couldn’t fully screw them flush. That said, they still felt secure and didn’t impact stability.
Aesthetic-wise, it’s better than expected. The teak-like color and wood pattern look natural and blend really well with my patio set up: furniture, mulch, fence, everything. It doesn’t look cheap or out of place, which is great because it’s always visible.
Now, the important part: make sure your umbrella pole matches the supported diameters. My umbrella (a 6’ one from Target) has a 36 mm pole, which is slightly smaller than what this base is designed for. Because of that, even when tightened all the way, the pole has a bit of give and rotates in the wind. That’s not a flaw on the base, it’s a compatibility issue. The product clearly list, the supported sizes, so just double check before buying.
Real-world use is where it shines. My backyard gets intense sun and had basically no usable shade before. With this basin an umbrella, we can finally sit outside comfortably. It’s made a noticeable difference in how we use the space.

Sleek but mighty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t let the sleek and elegant design fool you! This thing is heavy and well built! Easy to put together. I love the design it’s going to look great in my backyard. I’ve been searching for something like this to put an umbrella next to the kiddie pool to provide shade for the little ones on those hot sunny days. It’s compact so it will be easy to move around. I haven’t been able to set it up in the backyard since the weather has been crazy and we still have snow in April. This stand has me excited for summer!

It is absolutely sturdy to keep umbrella in place. Crestline also has the most attractive bases. I’m definitely pleased with the design and durability. I put it together and in place in five minutes. Perfect for years of use
