Did not work correctly out of the box

I received this as a gift from a company that I work with. First the start button and the cooking presets would not light up. Then they randomly came on. So I gave it a test run. Now the entire device does not turn on AT ALL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the air fryer, easy to use. What I don't like is being forced to do a review in order to register product. I will never buy another Uber appliance b/c of this! I will also share this experience with others since there are multiple air fryers on the market
