Great feature but it suddenly just stopped working

Extremely Disappointed

I received this as a gift for my birthday. I've wanted an air fryer for the longest time so I was incredibly excited to try it out. Went to cook dinner with it for the first time tonight and after the timer went off I was ready to feed the family. I removed the basket only to find the fan doesn't work. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and still the fan doesn't work. I should have known something was wrong from how quiet it was but since I have never used an air fryer before, I was unaware of what it should sound like. Needless to say I'm incredibly disappointed since the model has such high reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
